Super Leaders / Kata Masters

Practise the leadership form the moment requires.

Kata Masters is a master-led system of twelve emotional-intelligence abilities. It helps leaders turn pressure, difference and uncertainty into a worthwhile outcome, a stronger relationship and more capable people.

Super Leaders Kata Masters Winning Formula roadmap showing four connected practice fields and twelve ability forms
The Winning Formula is a connected ability system—not a rank, belt or serial ladder.

The Winning Formula

Winning = Self-Command × Shared Clarity × Adaptive Action × Multiplied Agency

The multiplication sign matters. When any field is absent, performance weakens. The work is to select the form the live situation needs while building fluency across all four.

A WINNING LEADER PRODUCES

A worthwhile outcome. The work moves forward. A stronger relationship. People remain candid and connected. More capability. Others leave better able to lead the next moment.

Four connected practice fields

Twelve short forms for live leadership work.

No serial path. No episode numbers. Leaders choose the ability that helps the situation in front of them, then practise it until it travels into the work.

01 / COMMAND YOURSELF

Choice before reaction.

Create choice before pressure becomes a reflex.

Master-led practice

The master makes the pattern visible, then gives ownership back.

A Kata Master is a guide, pattern-maker and holder of purpose—not the hero or source of every answer. The facilitator demonstrates a precise form, protects the practice conditions and returns the work to the people carrying it.

01

See it

Make a live pattern or challenge observable without blame.

02

Try it

Demonstrate and rehearse the short three-part form.

03

Replay it

Run it again with one behavioural refinement.

04

Transfer it

Contract a live-work experiment with evidence to bring back.

05

Review it

Compare effects on outcome, relationship and agency.

The work made visible

Four forms. One shared language.

These final programme visuals make the forms memorable without turning them into a numbered syllabus.

A 12-week executive rhythm

Deliberate attention, then real-work transfer.

The rollout gives each form deliberate focus while leaders remain free to use any form the live work requires. It is a practice cadence, not a twelve-rung status ladder.

Evidence that matters

Measure practice by what changes in real work.

Kata Masters does not assess attendance, theory recall or polished role-play. The executive team reviews observable evidence in the work itself.

OUTCOME

What moved?

Connect the practice to strategic, customer, risk, talent or delivery work.

RELATIONSHIP

What became more candid?

Notice repair, shared clarity and the team’s ability to surface difficult realities.

CAPABILITY

Who can now act?

Track self-owned contracts, stronger judgement and less dependence on the most senior voice.

PRACTICE STANDARD

How fluent is the form?

Observe movement from unseen, to prompted, to deliberate, to generative use under pressure.

Bring the practice to work

Build a leadership language that holds when the work gets hard.

Talk to the herd about a Kata Masters rollout shaped around your executive team’s real strategic, relational and operational challenges.
